'Til next time, Have Fun -Steve, Carolyn, Davis & Nakita
All the photos are clickable to a file that is slightly better for printing. If anyone wants them in an even larger format, you can
drop me an e-mail, and I'll send you the big mac daddy file. Hope that helps.
For years, home ownership has seemed but a fantasy for us. With
Real Estate prices in the Rogue Valley outrageously high, and our
incomes artisticly low, renting seemed the best option. Having a
little one makes you look at things a bit differently. We realized that
we were putting someone elses kid through college every time we
paid rent. So, after a few weeks of searching, and a generous nudge
from Charlie and Tobi, we are in the process of buying our first
home!!!
Big thanks to Great Aunt Carolyn
and Great Uncle Bernie for the
superniftycool, Rocking Horse that
Showed up on our porch attached
to a puffing sweaty UPS driver.
DAVIS' LATEST STATS
15 lbs. 12 oz.
26 inches long
Our future home, (barring any
wierd problems), has 3
bedrooms, 2 Baths, a garage, a
carport, shed, and small deck in
the back. Yes it is a
manufactured home, but we will
own the .14 acre lot underneath
it!
The Scene Shop Party!
Big News!!!
Oma came for a visit!!!
Grandpa and Nana brought Oma up from
Sacremento to meet her
15th great
grandchild. Davis was enthralled with
Oma's voice. She came bearing a huge
Thomas the Tank Engine riding toy.
Speaking of Big Riding Toys!
Coming up on four months old
May 18
While it was a short visit, we all had a
good time. Steve had grandiose ideas
about getting back into the kitchen and
cooking a big dinner since he had
grandparents to entertain the Boy...
everyone was very polite concerning the
tragedy that was Lamb Shanks.
Another Year, Another Party!
Once again, the scene shop party was a huge success. This year our theme
was The
'O lympics. This is the annual themed party where Carolyn and
Steve first met, (that year the theme was "Spies, and Secret Agents"). While
we weren't able to attend together this year, Mom let Dad go for a couple
hours.
The party featured badminton, ping pong, olympic kareoke, and various
relay competitions including dry land swimming. Steve fulfilled a
lifelong olympic dream of creating a nacho cheese fountain for the
snack table at the party!
